1st December 2007 Windsurfing: Camber Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F2-6 Surf / Sea State: wavey Air Temperature: ok Sea Temperature: ok Weather: sun/rain Max Speed: Distance Covered: I hereby vow never ever, EVER, to sail again from the central car park at Camber. I reckon that was the worst sail I've had in a decade. The wind promptly switched off as soon as I had rigged my 5.0 and wave board. It then teased me in between the rain until it came back properly just as I had to go home. The only time a decent patch of wind came through, I had changed up to a 5.7, so by the time I got to Little Maui, I was way over powered so couldn't even go an play in the waves - which were big and beautiful and lonely with all the windsurfers down at Jurys. |
